Sunday was Joel's baptism. We had the service right after church at 12:30. It was really nice. The whole Primary room was full and we even had some friends that don't attend our ward come to it. I really didn't think that there would be all that many people there with it being Fast Sunday and everything but as I looked around the room I felt very loved. Grandma Dunn and Aunt Maurianne gave talks on baptism and the Holy Ghost. Before Joel got up to go to the font I leaned over and whispered to him that I wanted him to look around the room at all the people that were there and told him that all those people were there to support him in his decision to be baptized because they love him and are proud of him. He was beaming as he entered the font with his dad. David baptized him and then afterwards his Grandpa Dunn confirmed him a member of the Church and gave him the gift of the Holy Ghost. It was a really special day and we felt so blessed to have some of our family to share it with us. Afterwards we went home and had a really nice Sunday dinner. It was wonderful to have family there to help with all the preparations and clean up and then to enjoy the meal with. Afterwards all the stress from planning such an important event caught up with me and I had a really long nap. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.

Your blog didn't show up as having a new post! Congratulations to Joel. That is so exciting for your family. I can't believe little Joel is old enough to do that.
