Seeing the Sights

Three years ago we drove out to Utah and then to Las Vegas for my sister-in-law’s wedding. At that time when I got home I recorded some of the sights we saw on our drive out. Recently I came across another piece of paper on which I had written down some of the sights we saw in Las Vegas and on our drive back home to Alabama. Here they are:

• The Bellagio Fountains
• The Las Vegas Strip
• Four giant fake turtles
• The Hoover Dam
• Mountain goat crossing sign
• Petrified forest
• Life sized dinosaur models at a dinosaur park
• The world’s largest dream catcher (Meteor City, AZ)
• A sign which read “DUST STORMS MAY EXIST”
• Giant pottery vases in the median in Albequerqe
• A rubber chicken hanging out the back of a semi
• A woman cuffed on the side of the road while the police searched her car
• Toad Suck Park, AR
• An old-fashioned steam boat on the Mississippi River

So thanks for getting married Heather and Graham. Without you we may never have seen the world’s largest dream catcher.  Happy anniversary.
