Air Show

Air showSaturday we went to the air show. It was too foggy for any flying so they will be doing that in May sometime, but we were able to walk around and see some cool planes. I have to admit that I have been a bit spoiled in the past when we lived close to the Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio. There was an awesome museum there and this little air show on Saturday seemed really pitiful in comparison but we still had a good time (all except Nate who wasn't feeling well). Thanks to our friends the Brownings who gave us the heads up about the show and even shared some free tickets with us.

Airshow

Collage pictures from left to right:

Row 1--Seth in the cockpit of a CAP (Civil Air Patrol) plane; Nate in a Marine helicopter; my boys being boys and checking out a plane engine

Row 2--Joel in a Navy helicopter; Daniel and David checking out that plane engine; chrome

Row 3--Pistons of a Japanese Zero (WWII); Japanese Zero; Not sure what this plane is but it was pretty cool.

Single Picture at top is some Russian plane (a MiG??). There weren't very many signs to tell about the planes. Bummer. My brothers would be able to supply the missing information I'm sure.

It is wonderful that you always find time to do interesting things with your family. You are a great mother to enrich the boys' lives with so many unique experiences.
