Now that Seth is in middle school he gets to experience the wonderful world of pep rallies. I think they have them every couple of months. I guess the purpose is just to promote unity and team spirit among the groups since there aren’t really any sports teams for 6th graders. The school is divided into several teams (all named after various cats). Seth’s team is the leopards. They learned a couple of different cheers that the language arts teacher wrote and they had their faces painted at school today. I was surprised to see Seth when he walked in the door after school but he very cheerfully told me that his team won the pep rally. Yeah for team spirit!
Speaking of team spirit, how ‘bout them Cougars?!

Yay for Seth!
I don't want to talk about the football game. :(
Jill-it has been fun catching up with your family. Your post on 9/11 was especially touching. I loved the quotes you used and the messages were a good reminder to me. Love the green desk!
I know Amy. What a sad, sad day.
He looks awsome, and soooo grown up!
