Nate’s Big Day

Well, birthday season is over for us until November. We celebrated Nate’s 6th birthday at the beach again this year. It rained all day so we went to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum (which pretty much freaked Nate out so maybe it wasn’t the best choice for his birthday—ah well, live and learn). We also played a fun white elephant exchange game using stuff we bought at the dollar store and had a delicious dinner with a fun hamburger shaped birthday cake for dessert followed by some present opening (lots of Legos this year!).  We all had a great time. Happy birthday to my sweet Nate. It doesn’t seem like it’s been 6 years since my 9 lb. 12 oz., Elvis-haired baby boy rushed into this world. Little did I know what adventures awaited!
