We had a delicious Sunday dinner this afternoon and homemade tapioca pudding with freshly whipped cream before bed. I listened to Schumann’s Symphony No. 1 “Spring” while I was doing the dinner dishes. This evening I watched the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice while I organized and cleaned all the DVDs. They’ve been in a pile accumulating sticky fingerprints and smudges since Daniel dumped them out a week or so ago and it’s good to have it all done. Maybe the loveliest thing about today though is that tomorrow is a fresh start to a new week—bright and shiny and full of possibilities. Here’s hoping many lovely things await you this coming week.
What loveliness did the day bring to you?

Today's lovely? Getting to see Jenny, home from Minnesota. Also most lovely was getting to meet her sweet Charlie and watching he and Jack play. It was a surreal moment. We talked about you, wondered how you ever do it with 4 of your own and yet have time to write and bake and all. We talked about looking at the lovely in our day. Thank you, Jill. :)
