Advice for a peaceful Sabbath:

Wake up on time so you are not too late to church.

Sunday naps are one of life’s little blessings.

A visit from the home teachers can be nice.

Talk to loved ones on the telephone. Make sure to tell them you love them.

Get your kids to unload/reload the dishwasher so you don’t have too. ;)

Grilled chicken makes a nice and not-too-time-consuming Sunday dinner.

Visit with friends and neighbors. Ask if they need anything. Share cookies.

Planning the week ahead alleviates stress.

Let your kids run around outside for a bit. Sit in a rocking chair and watch them. It will do you all good.

Have sweaty kids shower and get their pajamas on by 6:30 pm. This is not too early. Trust me.

Finish that good book that you’ve been reading.

Three words: popcorn and juice.

Count your blessings and get ready for a great week!
