Art Class

Art Class Nate is currently enrolled in an art class through the local parks and recreation department. He seems to really enjoy it. Last week they did a Jackson Pollack-esque project that was a lot of fun. They wore smocks and goggles and I kicked myself for not bringing my camera because they were so cute. I didn't make the same mistake this week, so I was ready to document self-portrait day. The kids had a great time filling in their personal outlines with chalks. Next week is the last week. Six weeks never went by so quickly! (You should be able to see the pictures larger by clicking on the collage.)

So cute! Did you dress him like Steve from Blues Clues on purpose? :D

Danielle, yes and no. He has the shirt that is a Blue's Clue's shirt (a hand me down)with a paw print on the left side and every thing. The tan pants weren't intentional. They are what I've taken to calling "the art pants" because Nate drew all over them with ball point pen one day when he was bored. I figured they'd be perfect attire for art class when there is paint flying, etc.

What a great idea to get Nate into an art class. His picture is so cute--I just can't believe how big he is getting.

I just can't get enough of seeing pictures of the boys, they are just so cute! Maybe it is because I hope their new little cousin will be just as cute.
