Cross Country Meet: Smith’s Station, AL

Seth had a meet today. He did great. He got his personal best time for the two mile. The other boys were having fun running around too. Daniel didn’t like the tall grass very much though. It was a beautiful fall day: the skies were blue, the golden rod is in bloom right now and temperatures were in the mid 70s. It was fun to see the sights in Smith’s Station as well. I bet these people started a candy store just so that the lady of the house could have an excuse to paint her shutters pink. Kinda makes me want to open one.

And we knew our day was complete when we got to see this on the way home.
