My High School Math Teacher and Wierd Al Yankovic "White and Nerdy"
So, I was thinking about this video, "White and Nerdy" that I was introduced to by a member of an email list I am on. I have been pondering my own nerdiness of late and decided to watch it again because it really is hilarious and I can always use a smile. As I was watching it I was struck by the uncanny resemblance between my high school math teacher (names have been withheld to protect privacy) and the main character in the video (played by Wierd Al himself). Regrettably I don't have quality pictures of either of them since I had to scan my yearbook and take a pic of the computer screen during the video--you'll have to take my word for it since the pictures aren't that great. The more I watched that video the more similarities I noticed including the references to the anything computer related and the Chess club (my teacher was the founder and advisor of our Chess Club--and yes, I was a member.) I also particularly appreciated the cameo appearances of Donny Osmond and Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) both extremely "white and nerdy" guys. I know that I am somewhat nerdy but so are many of my friends (sending a shout-out to Commander McKnight, former president of the Star Trek Fan Club) so it's all good! Peace out.

Okay, I was totally LOL until the end. Then the laughter stopped. You will pay dearly for this, sister. ;)
Bring it on. :)
Thanks for the laugh, Jill. I am so white and nerdy lately!
